Mike Keller
Owner & Operator
Chad and I started Western Skies Landscapes after I graduated from Montana State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. I started landscaping in high school and have turned it into my career. I grew up in Terrace Park, OH and moved to Bozeman when I was 19 years old. My passions include climbing, skiing, and hiking. Whether I am busy around the shop, at a job site, or off on an outdoor adventure, you’ll be hard-pressed to find me without my trusty border collie, Dixie!
Chad Mackey
Owner & Operator
I moved to Montana after graduating from Ohio University in 2014. Spending many family vacations in Bozeman as a kid, my love for the outdoors and Gallatin County area has done nothing but grow. Since moving to Montana, I have been working hard and enjoying the life that this incredible state has to offer. I spent my teenage and college years landscaping, so it was easy transitioning back to working outdoors after a year spent in the office.
Jordan Snapp
Operations Manager
I was born and raised outside of Lewistown, Montana and moved to Bozeman around 10 years ago. I started doing sprinklers at 15 years old and turned it into my career. I am a small town farm kid that enjoys working outside and meeting new people. It is very rare to see me without my right hand pup, Loki!
Taylor Payne
Project Manager
This is my second season with Western Skies Landscapes. I began working in landscape and lawn care in 2015. 2021- 2022 I worked with the United States Army Corp of Engineers as a operator in Iowa. Before moving to Montana, I was originally from Missouri, where I owned and operated Certified Landscaping & Lawn Care.
Ethan Fleming
Hardscape Specialist
This is my second season with Western Skies Landscapes. I graduated from Minot State University in 2020 with my degree in criminal justice. I have been working construction for the past 3 years specializing in asphalt paving.
Aidan McMahan
Landscape Specialist
Aidan McMahan, grew up in Seattle WA. During my time in Seattle I worked full time for the West Seattle Nursery for six years. I am also a Eagle Scout who loves hiking and living in the outdoors. I came to Bozeman, Montana to find my own path and in doing so I found Western Skies Landscapes and have been with the company for 2 1/2 years.
Sophia Dawn
Irrigation Technician
Hi! I'm Sophie. I was born in Texas but raised in Virginia. I started at a historical national park in Virginia as a maintenance worker and historical preservationist and eventually found my way to Grand Teton National park where I spent a season before I moved to Bozeman. Now I'm an irrigation tech in a city that I love. When I'm not at work I love to do all things outdoors, but especially ultra run!
