Mike Keller

Owner & Regional Manager

Chad and I started Western Skies Landscapes in 2015 after I graduated from Montana State University with a degree in finance. Go Cats! I started landscaping in high school and have turned it into my career. I grew up in Terrace Park, OH before moving to Bozeman in 2012. My passions include climbing, skiing, and the wilderness. You’ll always find me with my best friend, Dixie!

Chad Mackey

Owner & Regional Manager

I moved to Montana after graduating from Ohio University in 2014. Spending many family vacations in Bozeman as a kid, my love for the outdoors and Gallatin County area has done nothing but grow. Since moving to Montana, I have been working hard and enjoying the life that this incredible state has to offer. I spent my teenage and college years landscaping, so it was easy transitioning back to working outdoors after a year spent in the office.

Jordan Snapp

General Manager, Bozeman

I was born and raised outside of Lewistown, Montana and moved to Bozeman in 2012. I started doing sprinklers at 15 years old and turned it into my career. I am a small town farm kid that has a passion for golf. I enjoy working outside and meeting new people. It is very rare to see me without my right hand pup, Loki!

Thomas Taaca

General Manager, Livingston

I moved to Bozeman from Colorado in 2016 to attend Montana State University. Throughout my time in Bozeman, I have focused my career on landscaping in the summers and remodeling house in the winters, but I have always loved gaining new experiences. Outside of work you can find me snowboarding, snowmobiling, biking, or just playing around outside!

Braden Short

General Manager, Dayton

I’m a 2013 graduate of the University of Dayton. I live in Miamisburg with my wife Elizabeth and our three beautiful daughters. I look forward to taking my leadership skills that I have gained in the last 12 years as a teacher and coach to work with our team and new customers. 

Ronnie Fowler

General Manager, Projects

I know first hand about the in’s and out’s of any landscaping need. Growing up in Tunnel Hill, Georgia, my interest in agriculture drew me to landscaping at an early age. Throughout the past 38 years, I have gained much knowledge and still love the landscaping industry as much as when I started. I have never been one to let grass grow under my feet and have always excelled at leadership. Outside of work, I have a softer side and am an ordained counselor. I love every minute life has to offer. Working with Western Skies has given me the opportunity to express myself and carry on my leadership abilities through teaching team members and clients about landscaping.

Ethan Fleming

Master Technician, Projects

I joined Western Skies Landscapes in 2023. I graduated from Minot State University in 2020 with my degree in criminal justice. Prior to joining the WSL team, I worked construction for 3 years, specializing in asphalt paving.

Connor Free

Master Technician, Bozeman

I joined Western Skies in 2020, having grown up with childhood friends Mike & Chad. During my time I have done most jobs in the company, specializing in irrigation ands cutting grass. When I'm not working, you can usually find me hiking the backcountry or with a banjo in my hands!

Austin Cherry

Technician, Projects

I moved to Bozeman from South Louisiana in 2016 and have called Bozeman home ever since.  Working outdoors has always been my passion and being able to build a career in this industry has been a highlight of my life.  As a proud father, I highly value a positive attitude in all areas of my life, which extends into my professional life as well.  I am very excited to continue serving our beautiful Gallatin Valley. Tatjana Vermunt

Technician, Bozeman

Hi, I'm Tatjana! I was born and raised in the small town of Dillon, Montana and moved away after joining the Air Force. I joined the WSL team in 2022 when I moved back home, and I love what I do. Outside of work, you'll likely find me roller skating, paddle boarding, jamming at a concert, or soaking up the sunshine outdoors with a good book. At home, I share my space with my beloved cats, who are always ready for some cuddles and mischief. 

CK Estep

Technician, Bozeman

Hey! l’m CK and with Western Skies since 2022. I am a born-and-raised Ohioan who’s been dreaming of living in Montana for as long as I can remember. I made my escape in 2021 and I’ve been living life since. Outside of digging holes, you can find me lifting, running, backpacking, skiing, atv-ing, camping, and anything active and outdoors!
