Team — Western Skies Landscapes

I moved to Montana after graduating from Ohio University in 2014. Spending many family vacations in Bozeman as a kid, my love for the outdoors and Gallatin County area has done nothing but grow. Since moving to Montana, I have been working hard and enjoying the life that this incredible state has to offer. I spent my teenage and college years landscaping, so it was easy transitioning back to working outdoors after a year spent in the office.

Chad and I started Western Skies Landscapes in 2015 after I graduated from MSU with a degree in finance. Go Cats! I started landscaping in high school and have turned it into my career. I grew up outside of Cincinnati, Ohio before moving to Bozeman in 2012. My passions include climbing, skiing, the wilderness, and being outside. You’ll always find me with my best friend, Dixie!

I joined Western Skies Landscapes in 2019 when they purchased my lawn care business. My prior experience as a business owner has helped me with my current position of Sales Manager. Outside of work, I enjoy time spent in the outdoors, including dirt biking in the summer and skiing in the winter.

I was born and raised outside of Lewistown, Montana and moved to Bozeman around 10 years ago. I started doing sprinklers at 15 years old and turned it into my career. I am a small town farm kid that enjoys working outside and meeting new people. It is very rare to see me without my right hand pup, Loki!

This is my third season with Western Skies Landscapes. I began working in landscape and lawn care in 2015, with a brief stint as an operator with the United States Army Corp of Engineers in Iowa. I grew up in Missouri, where I owned and operated a successful lawndscape and lawn care business.

I know first hand about the in’s and out’s of any landscaping need. Growing up in Tunnel Hill, Georgia, my interest in agriculture drew me to landscaping at an early age. Throughout the past 38 years, I have gained much knowledge and still love the landscaping industry as much as when I started. I have never been one to let grass grow under my feet and have always excelled at leadership. Outside of work, I have a softer side and am an ordained counselor. I love every minute life has to offer. Working with Western Skies has given me the opportunity to express myself and carry on my leadership abilities through teaching team members and clients about landscaping.

Hey! l’m CK and this is my fourth season with Western Skies. I am a born-and-raised Ohioan who’s been dreaming of living in Montana for as long as I can remember. I made my escape in 2021 and I’ve been living life since. Outside of digging holes, you can find me lifting, running, backpacking, skiing, atv-ing, camping, and anything active and outdoors!

This is my second season with Western Skies Landscapes. I graduated from Minot State University in 2020 with my degree in criminal justice. Prior to joining the WSL team, I worked construction for 3 years, specializing in asphalt paving.

Sophia Dawn

Hi! I'm Sophie. I was born in Texas but raised in Virginia. I started my career in a national park in Virginia as a ntenance worker and historical preservationist. Eventually I found my way to Grand Teton National Park where I spent a season before I moved to Bozeman. Now I'm an irrigation tech in a city that I love. When I'm not at work I love to do all things outdoors, but especially ultra run!

I joined Western Skies in 2020, having grown up with childhood friends Mike & Chad. During my time I have done most jobs in the company, specializing in irrigation ands cutting grass. When I'm not working, you can usually find me hiking the backcountry or with a banjo in my hands!

My name is Nick. I moved to Montana from Pennsylvania. I like to travel and see new places. I love working outside and really enjoy seeing the product of my work.
